ARPA Conference and Energize Workshop 2011

The Alberta Centre for Active Living is supporting two full-day Home Support Exercise Program (HSEP) Facilitator training courses in Alberta in October 2011 by bringing in a trainer from the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging at Western.

Human Rights in the Workplace public workshops

The Commission invites you to register for a fall workshop. Human Rights in the Workplace public workshops are scheduled for Edmonton, Calgary and Lethbridge for fall 2011. The public workshops are full-day sessions that will provide participants with: 1) an overview of Alberta's human rights legislation, 2) information from the workshop module Duty to accommodate, and 3) an understanding of harassment in the workplace and strategies to prevent such harassment. The full-day workshops will also provide participants with an understanding of respectful and inclusive workplaces and strategies to create such workplaces.
