The 3rd Annual Rubaboo Arts Festival is Alberta’s only Aboriginal arts and theatre festival. Rubaboo is a Michif (Métis) word for a stew that’s full of life, and food that feeds the spirit. Celebrate National Aboriginal History Month with traditional and contemporary Aboriginal artists from across the country. This 11 day multi-disciplinary festival showcases new Aboriginal plays, music, dance, art, food, family and youth events, artist workshops, an Aboriginal farmers’ market, and two concerts.
