Lee Fund for the Arts

The Lee Fund for the Arts will invest in Edmonton’s community by providing funding for community arts projects which are described as collaborations between professional artists and a distinct community (as defined by factors including but not limited to ethnicity, living conditions, geographic location, age, beliefs, traditions, social or economic strata).

Community arts uses artistic activities and expressions to support the development and improvement of the quality of life of a community. It can involve one or more art practices, such as music, dance, theatre, visual arts, new media or storytelling, but the collaborative involvement of professional artists with community members is a necessary component.
