The Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) invites its members and allied stakeholders to attend the 2011 Communities ChooseWell Program Launch, which will take place on Wednesday, April 13th at the Leduc Recreation Centre in Leduc, Alberta.
The launch event will feature keynote speaker Susan Roberts, Project Coordinator for Growing Food Security in Alberta. Susan uses an asset-based community building approach in her work provincially and nationally as a facilitator, project leader and manager, community coach, adult educator, and speaker.
The launch will also feature remarks from Dr. André Corriveau, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health; Terry Welsh, ARPA President; as well as Mayor Greg Krischke from the City of Leduc.
