INTRODUCTION TO 'KIDS AT HOPE' …helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Goals and Dreams
July 29, 2011: 9:00 - 10:30 am

What would happen if everyone in your community stopped using the term 'Youth at Risk' and instead decided every child is capable of success - no exceptions! What happens when every child is considered to be a 'Kid at Hope'?

In this webinar, two dynamic women will share the powerful results that occur when that shift in thinking takes place, and how they are implementing Kids at Hope across an entire community.

Based on the same international model now being rolled out across the province of Alberta (see http://www.kidsathope.org), Christine Epps and Mindi Fetterman will share how The Roundtable of St. Lucie County in Florida is committed to helping prevent truancy, suspensions, bullying, substance abuse, violence, and gang involvement by implementing the Kids at Hope model as a prevention initiative that targets all of the assets in children and youth, and engages all adults to participate in helping each child achieve their goals and dreams for the future.  Presenters: Christine Epps and Mindi Massi

To register for any of these free webinars go to recc.arpahub.ca. Also feel free to distribute it among your networks.
