ACE Communities was lucky this past weekend to have spoken at the Indigenous Sport Council Alberta’s (ISCA) “Capacity Building through Sport and Recreation Conference”.
Janet Naclia, Creative Cultural Liaison, spoke about how the arts, culture, and heritage can build community capacity and Brenda Herchmer, Director of ACE, be presented an overview on the ACE initiative.
We would like to thank the ISCA for inviting us and look forward to all of the amazing contacts that we made.
For interested parties, here is a link to Janet Naclia’s presentation on arts & culture’s link to capacity building. The link is below. Once you use this link (just paste it into your web browser), it is a pretty big file so there won’t be a preview. But if you look to the top left of the screen, there is a button to click for a download.
