ACE Community of Practice Conference Call for Aboriginal Recreation Workers

Posted on: Mar 11 2010 | Posted in: ACE Announcements

As you may be aware, Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) has been working with the Indigenous Sport Council (Alberta) to support the use of recreation, sports, arts, culture and heritage in Aboriginal Communities.

At our recent Aboriginal Recreation Directors Summit there was interest expressed in maintaining connections among staff and volunteers who are delivering recreation, sports, arts, culture and heritage programs and services in aboriginal communities. There was particular interest in sharing practical learnings and resources on an ongoing basis.

As a result we would like to invite you to take part in a meeting via teleconference on March 22nd at 10:00 am. Please feel free to share this invitation with others who might be interested.

3. Update from Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA)

We look forward to connecting with you. Contact Janet at jnaclia@aceleaders.ca or 403-237-9722 for further info and for the teleconference call-in information.
